When I don't want to make the half hour trip to KC for BBQ, this is where we go. Good food, good portions and the customer service has always been decent too. Besides that, 2 things I appreciate, this place is always clean. No dirty tables. Also the prices are great.

Visiting Lawrence, my brother in law recommended Hog Wild Pit. Very pleased, portions worth the money, brisket and ribs were great. Clean dine in, good country music. When back in Lawrence I will definitely go back.

The meal deal is great value. I love how they toast there buns. Macaroni was cold today but they replaced with another side. Good enough bbq

Ordered from this restaurant for the first time today, and the food was amazing. Portions were huge, food was so juicy, warm, and flavorful. The ribs are literally to die for, they fall off the bone, and are perfection.

Absolutely lube the bbq here. It's so sweet and absolutely phenomenal quality. I got the pulled pork and the pulled chicken with the mild sauce all over it and the heat quality was outstanding and tender. The mild sauce there is very sweet to the taste and only adds to the greatness of the meats. For my side I decided to go with two servings of the mac and cheese. For me, honestly I judge a BBQ place based on their mac and cheese quality, add I was not let down at all. The mac and cheese quality was great with good consistency. My wife has the loaded backed baked potato with pulled pork and baked beans and she was very happy with her meal and said it was great as well. Definetly a great bbq in Lawrence if you wanna take your family or just yourself too. They also cater, so if you need some food for larger get togethers, then this would be the place to go.
