Dempsey's Burger Pub

My wife and I ate dinner here before going to a KU basketball game. While we were in a bit of a hurry, we certainly enjoyed the atmosphere and the quick and friendly staff. She got the hot Hawaiian burger and I got the Reuben and we split two orders of fries - sweet potato fries and “fire” fries. There were so many fries that we wondered if they gave us baskets of fries instead of side orders! My wife especially enjoyed her burger, and we loved the local feel of the place. We’d both come back to Dempsey’s!

Amazing food and great service!! It was my first time here, and the experience was phenomenal. Place was welcoming with great music. Our server was quick and friendly and was frequently checking if the foods were good. They were able to adjust our order per our likings and the food was delicious. Will definitely visit again.

Waitresses are great and chill. The specials are surprisingly amazing. Not the most extensive list of drinks (some of what I asked for was out). Drink prices are absolutely stellar. The fries have a lot of variety and all were surprisingly good. A large selection of special dipping sauces as well. Burgers are above average.

Love this place! The food was amazing!! Pretzel sticks hot and crispy yet soft inside (with the beer cheese) were so delicious! Loved the truffle fries, cooked perfectly and wonderful flavor! But my biggest surprise was the chicken sandwich...I didn't think I would like red cabbage slaw on my chicken but I decided to give it a try and it was fabulous. The service was on point and the atmosphere of the Pub was perfect. Even the prices we reasonable for the food. With our son attending KU we will definitely be back soon!

The truffle fries are a must! 🍟The garlic aïoli sauce is the absolute perfect pairing with them. God they are just too good!! They’ve got a nice selection of items. Their burgers are what they are known for though. 🍔They have some pretty unique items! I got the burger with Sriracha 🔥and peanut butter🥜. Very odd flavoring but I just had to try it haha. Big portion. Had leftovers. Great place. Yum! 🤤🤤 they also have outdoor seating that is doggie friendly! ☺️🐕🐶
