Westside Bagel And Bakery

Stopped by today! Came from Kihei just to try West Side Bagels! So worth it! I’m a NY/NJ transplant here and finally found a real bagel here! I bought their bakers dozen so I can have them often! They had the great chew and texture and an awesome selections of toppings! There sandwich selection was amazing too! I will definitely be back when I run out! Now ya need to open a shop on the Southside! It takes alot of work and effort to make bagels… like days! Keep up the great work! I highly recommend!!!

I’m not sure if it’s because it’s under new ownership now, but if you really wanna know what a bagel taste like because real bagels literally don’t exist anymore you have to come to westside bagel. I got a day old one and I pan fried it and it was literally heaven!! I got a Reuben sandwich and that to melted it in my mouth! The bread has the perfect amount of chewiness, crispiness (if you toast it) and softness. I was hesitant on the bake goods. Because nowadays everything is bought from Costco and nothings homemade but there were these little signs that said homemade on them. I asked the girl and she recommended the brownie… I bought the brownie and again heaven in my mouth!! The previous owners don’t have homemade baked goods… I’m really excited to see the future for Westside bagel!! I feel so grateful to have real bagels in my town. Thank you guys for keeping the shop open and the traditional bagel life!! PS I never, I repeat never write reviews, but I felt so compelled because I was just so satisfied!!

Was looking for something else and discovered this shop! It smelled amazing so I gave it a try. The turkey, egg, and cheese sandwich on an onion bagel was my order. It was quite delicious! Egg was fluffy, bagel was very fresh. It was a go back to location! The only thing was prices were pretty steep for small amounts of food.
