Old Lahaina Shave Ice

Ululani’s is the best shaved ice that I have ever had. If you are in Hawaii. Visit Ululani’s you will love it. I had the Mango and Coconut with coconut shavings on top. It was delicious. Look at the line in my pictures. The line does go fast and the service is quick. The line did not get shorter the entire time we were there. People LOVE IT! The crew is very welcoming and I mean quick. They don’t take cash so be ready with your credit card. It does move fast. Parking could be a bit difficult but there are parking lots with plenty of room and many shops to walk around after eating your shaved ice. I can see why Ululani’s has a 5 star out of 5 star rating. It is really that good.

Highly recommend this shaved ice place! Definitely worth it. We went there twice in a row to find the place shut. On the third attempt, there was a big line and we patiently waited for 30 minutes. While waiting in the line the owner started talking with us and gave us 2 free shaved ice coupons since we were persistent in our effort to try their shaved ice! Amazing flavors and fresh ice creams too!

This is my go to shave ice place on Maui. It’s so good!! I usually get the Ulu size with mac nut ice cream and three flavors. Passion fruit is one of my favorites, guava, pineapple, etc. I finish it off with a snow cap which is evaporated milk 😋 I’ve been getting the kid’s size (Keiki) more often and it’s actually an even better size if you want the sweets but don’t want too much. Sometimes there’s a bit too much syrup with the smaller size.

The cool refreshing treat you love to eat. There are so many combinations and choices of poured flavors on the menu you better make up your mind quick. Went on a Saturday and the two windows had the line moving quickly. There is a shop for purchase of clothes and stickers and handbags. The texture is so light and fluffy that it doesn’t feel too filling like ice cream. Would definitely come back again.

Absolutely understand why this is considered the best shave ice on the island! My sister and I were determined to squeeze in a visit before dinner. They had no line when we arrived around 6:45 on a Sunday. We ordered their Sunset Beach with passion orange, mango, and guava with a macadamia nut ice cream base. The flavors were outstanding, and the mango just melted in your mouth. Their macadamia nut ice cream was also delicious and went surprisingly well with the other flavors! The only downside of the entire experience was their menu's multi-colored text, which was very difficult to read (maybe just an issue at night)
