What took me so long to discover this wonderfully traditional Mexican restaurant? I had the Migas with Carne Guisada. The cumino tastes freshly ground. The bell pepper is cooked and the flavor infuses into the gravy and brings a warm smile to my face. Low key place, got filled quickly with regulars who know what a treasure this place is. I look forward to introducing this gem to my family!

We have eaten here at least once a week, since they opened, which has probably been at least 12 years. The decor is nothing fancy, but the food is great. Try the shrimp cocktail or the shrimp soup. Whether you choose seafood, or mexican food, you won't be disappointed. It tastes like grandma's cooking. Oh yeah, and the bar drinks are amazing. Best happy hour in town!

The food is pretty good, I got some food to go and had to order some more after finishing. The first order was treated like if I was unwanted and a bother, second time around had higher expectations because a similar face so soon I would have liked it. Guess not. I walked in to get my food and I ordered 6 catfish fillets and got 4. Then they proceeded to just point at the bag not even asking for what condiments or anything like the first time. If the service was better it would get a better review.

I really enjoy this place. Food, service, and drinks are always good and it's the only place in town I've found that serves fresh raw oysters. My issue is being over charged anywhere from $3 to $8 most times I eat here. I'm always charged for a full dozen even if I only get a half dozen. They do not offer an itemized receipt and seem upset when I question my charges. For that reason alone I will not go back. Too bad because again, I really like the place.....

1st time coming here and I loved it!!!! Came during happy hour so we got a $19 pitcher and it was $4 more to add flavor (we got mango and they added chamoy y tajin) the food and drinks came out extremely fast!!! I absolutely loved it! Would come here again with my family! The chips and dips were amazing too!! Not like other restaurants where they aren’t crunchy or have no flavor to the sauce but man that sauce tasted like my moms home made salsa! Leaving slightly tipsy lol

Waitresses are rude, never smiled, never welcomed us in. Just said “ you can sit anywhere”
While we were ordering she could not have looked more unhappy to be working. Got our food and it was wrong. Whole time the waitresses were laughing, joking and watching stuff on their phones. They were louder then any one else in the restaurant.
The barbacoa tacos were good and so was the salsa but the energy in this place is not it.
Definitely will not be back.
