Hays City Donuts

It’s been over 3 years since I’ve been back to this place. We didn’t care much for the Chinese food years ago, though we did love the doughnuts and breakfasts and miss the original owner woman who passed away. Decided to give it another chance after knowing that they did kind of start over. Still original family owned and run! My parents own and run a small bbq restaurant together, so I have a special place in my heart for family run restaurants. They have a tiny menu, but that’s a good thing! The food is made fresh to order, the food is hot and delicious! Will definitely start going here again! Large portions at great prices! Thank you!

Waited 40 minutes for food to be ready. They couldn’t call to let me know that part of my order was out of stock. Drove there, picked up the food, tipped them and drove home. They didn’t give me the fired rice I paid for. So I had to go back and pick it up, gas and time aren’t cheap. Upon arriving for a second time they hand me a tiny container of rice, and a “have a good day”. The container I feel is smaller than what should have come with the meal I paid for. 0/5 would not waste your time coming here we gotta do better, Texas

My favorite family-owned donut and Chinese place! The only drive thru donuts you'll find in Kyle and most definitely one of the best. Their biscuit sandwiches are divine, the donuts are a good size, and they always throw in a couple extra donutholes with your order. Can't wait till the dining room opens for dinner again!
