Mad Jack's Fresh Fish

We got the 1/2lb catfish meals which come with 2 sides. Everything was piping hot and fresh when it came out. The breading on the catfish is light, crunchy, and seasoned to perfection. Not too salty, and not heavy on the fish at all. Not a fan of the Mac and cheese. Tasted like box mac to me and was very plain. Everything else was delicious 😊

It must be the trending "New Normal" fillets use to be big enough to cover a slice of bread. But what Mad Jack's call fillets looks more like pasta noodles. I was too disappointed to take a picture of it. However after my original post, I was finishing up on the left-overs. Here's a picture of catfish, shrimp, chicken and greens. The shrimp is bigger than the catfish. And I drove all the way past Crown Center to get to Mad Jack's. Never Again😏

First they forgot part of my order, then they sent no cocktail sauce for my shrimp, yet they send me 4 containers of hot sauce for some reason. There is no easy way to submit a request for bill correction for missing food. The food was decent but their attention to detail is way is base. A 58.00 $ order charge and only 50.00$ worth of food. Mistakes happen but how do you correct something like this? I was all the way home before I noticed it was 25 minutes across town plus they charged me 6.99 for fried okra but advertised it as 4.99 on their menu. Overall decent food, but service sucked. And I drive across town to get it before the reviews water excellent. Either I am unlucky or others standards are really low.

I told my friends about this place with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is yummy and the stuff is very friendly and cooperative. Whenever we visit this place we have a splendid evening. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

Their fish is AWESOME! Their customer service is even better! Went there sunday and got a big order and they forgot to give me half of the order and i didnt notice until I got home so i called them and said it was missing to see if I could go back to pick it up and they told me no they would deliver it to me! Im impressed for sure!
