Bad Music Sunday

I occasionally take a walk over when I'm (mostly) by myself yet want to be *around* other people. I've yet to be at another bar that meets that criteria in addition to not feeling an awkward loss for 'what to do' at the same time. Definitely have made a lot of fond ̶m̶e̶m̶o̶r̶i̶e̶s̶ weird stories. This is my first year, of five-ish years, where I actually went and 'cashed in' on the birthday tokens, tried the pizza (the grease was real and did not disappoint™), and was there with winter holiday decorations. So. Thanks for existing and persisting (current and past staff)-- I appreciate it. I present a random photo dump of said five-ish years.

Back when I had first dates, this was my first date spot. It has everything you need. Dinner, drinks, skee-ball to impress my date with. Now that I hopefully don't have to go on first dates anymore, it is a chill night out with my boyfriend. And yeah it gets a little crowded on days like Valentine's Day or Saturdays. but the patrons are generally very understanding and won't hog Ms. Pac Man for too long. That being said, they rotate games frequently and the staff is very nice. And it is a 21+ only bar, so that is a plus.

Already love the atmosphere, mac and cheese pizza, and the machines here are so cool, but wanted to give a special shout-out to James! He gave us the best customer service last night with troubleshooting a coin eating pinball machine, and sharp and attentive to his job throughout the night. Super nice dude, keep him around!

My family and I made a fun Sunday night trip out now that the whole bunch is 21 and over and had a great time.. Sundays host a 6 beer with 80 tokens in a fanny pack for $25 deal which was perfect for us . We played all of our classic favorite games and enjoyed really great pizza (huge slices of pizza) This is definitely a fun night out .

I went to Up-Down on a crowded Saturday night. I got groped by a stranger, and proceeded to yell at him until he scurried away. Before I could even finish telling my husband what just happened, the bar staff came up to me to ask who it was and went to check the security footage. What felt like seconds later, the staff came back, told me they were on it, and kicked him out. They acted so swiftly to make sure he wouldn’t harass anyone else. I’ve always loved Up-Down for the games and the vibes, but I now also have incredible respect for the staff!
