Soiree Steak & Oyster House

Soiree hosted our Queer bar takeover with exceptional warmth and hospitality. The staff's custom t-shirts added a welcoming touch, and the delicious drinks were a hit. Their patio with a view of the Kansas City skyline was the perfect backdrop for a warm summer night. Soiree truly creates a sense of community and acceptance, making it an extraordinary place for a memorable night out.

What can I say about this hidden gem? First off it was literally a last minute pic, the atmosphere was so classy, jazz music was playing, people were laughing and having a good time, then came the Live music! It was so fantastic. They have very talented people come and do live performances! The service was above and beyond. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer, funnier and more attentive staff. The customers and staff alike were all so kind! The food was so surprising. My Husband got the Salmon BLT (with fried green tomatoes) and *chef kiss* wow!!!! I’d come back to Kansas City just for this! I had the red beans rice and creole shrimp, they accidentally gave me fried catfish, which I said I was fine with and I’d eat but the waitress said “no!” She looked insulted 🤣 so she went back to make sure I got what I wanted!! The drinks were fabulous. I am so happy to have found this place! I highly recommend!!

Food was great, very good Cajun shrimp and red beans & rice. Server Christopher was amaze, but food took 30-35 min to come out. We were only ones there and it's lunch. Prices are reasonable. Restaurant is pretty bare inside. Lots of concrete, tables, chairs. But the food is real good. Something is just not quite clicking at Soiree.

If you're looking for some southern food...check out Soirée over in the 18th and Vine district! The food was good, the vibe was right and the staff were friendly! They have live music and the band played old school R&B. I got the Cajun chicken and shrimp which came with mashed potatoes and a vegetable. The sauce on the chicken was good! Perfect amount of spice

I went and had an amazing time with my cousin on Saturday night! There was beautiful live music and the Salmon bites were DELICIOUS! I hadn’t ever tried a watermelon salad and was impressed, I tried my cousin’s greens tasted and I will be ordering that next time as well! We are returning and can’t wait to bring more people by!!

What a great place! The staff was so kind and friendly. And the food was Amazing! Yummy Vegetarian options but also the carnivore options looked and smelled fantastic. We went at lunch but I really want to come back for dinner too. Mushroom melt sandwich in photo. Delicious with the fire roasted tomatoes 😘

We were in the 18th & Vine district and got a tip to check out Soiree's. Even though it was closed as they were in between lunch and dinner, staff allowed us to come in and relax. The venue is large and full-service. Service was very good. My wife took the waiter's recommendation of went with the pasta/sausage dish - outstanding. I ordered to cobb salad as was not disappointed. Full of shrimp and veggies hit the spot. A great selection to relax and have a quality meal.
