Red Apple Diner

We stopped in at 10:15am...Well, my wife had biscuits and gravy which she loved, hash browns that were not really cooked enough, not browned. I had the mushroom and cheese omelet, which said "sauteed mushrooms"..these tasted like they were from a can,they were not browned in skillet at all.. I also ordered the hash browns,(needed cooked more) and a single biscuit(which was microwaved) because the top was super wet and wrinkled, I've nuked biscuits before lol, so I know. Wife's biscuits were covered with gravy, tops down, so she only had issue with hash browns really....waitress was super nice....so IDK, not a great experience for me, food wise. Others may love it.

The red apple diner offers a no frills family friendly atmosphere. Easy to find with plenty of free parking. Breakfast is served all day . Good comfort food at a reasonable price is nice but the friendly service makes it a great choice for a quick meal. Our waitress, Kim, was very helpful without hovering very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you Kim for making my first visit a pleasant one! Next time I'm visiting friends north of the river I'll be sure to stop in and try something off the lunch menu.

A small diner place thats packed on a late Sunday morning. Didn’t take very long til I got my table. The menu offers more choice than most restaurants. Their signature dish is the Red Apple Skillet so gotta order that for the first time. Man, the portion is big and best part is that it’s not too greasy or has way too much salt like many other places. Also ordered a Belgian Waffle and my choice of topping was strawberry and whipped cream. The waffle smelled so good the moment it was served. You can also order ham or bacon for the waffle if you like. I’d definitely go back and try other dishes on the menu!
