Brick House

I've been wanting to come here for a while, and finally got an opportunity to do so. Maybe being too hyped up beforehand led to a little disappointment than is fair (hence the 4 star instead of 3 to make up for that). That said, the atmosphere is really cool, and the 3 level bar with exposed brick is pretty sweet. It's borderline trashy bar and nice place to eat, which is an interesting edge to be honest. The food was hit and miss - the tacos weren't all that great, and the breading of the fried pickles was pretty hard, but the philly egg rolls are one of the best appetizers in the business. Absolutely must try, and I'll be back for more. The service was a little slow, but very friendly. Price was very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend it for a cool hang out spot and some decent food.

If you're looking to have an adult breakfast or brunch, this is the place. Upon walking in on a rainy and dreary Saturday morning the place was filled with people. That's the first sign that I've stumbled upon something nice. The staff was great. The food was delicious and my Bellini (champagne and peach juice) was awesome. They offer bottomless mimosas at a very reasonable price. I will be back.

Came and joined some friends to celebrate a birthday. Great atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating/ recreation. We had the small indoor area upstairs right by a bar to celebrate more intimately. Upbeat, great vibe to meet up with friends. Was loud with talking and music, but was the atmosphere we were looking for.

Picked by random, and great selection it was. The place is a vibe, and starts to get busy around 1030 for brunch on a Sunday. Though they have a lot of seating. Bottomless mimosas (Orange Juice or Cranberry) is what they have, you can’t beat the price for $14.99, when one is $5. The bartender was super friendly and engaging, never had an empty glass. The breakfast burrito dish was very fulfilling and really good. Definitely would go back when in KC.
