I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Hub Tavern and Grill in Kalamazoo. After a day of exploring, we were in search of a nearby place to grab a bite, and The Hub seemed like the perfect choice. First and foremost, the ambiance of the restaurant was absolutely beautiful. The cozy and inviting atmosphere made for a delightful dining experience. When it came to the food, most of the dishes we ordered were great. However, I must mention that the margarita pizza was a bit bland for my taste. It lacked the bold flavors I was expecting. On a positive note, the smash burger we ordered was a standout. It had a fantastic flavor, and to top it off, it was on special, making it an even better deal. Unfortunately, our server was not as attentive as we had hoped. The food took quite a while to arrive, and our server mentioned that there were no food runners available. However, I suspect that he may have simply forgotten to ring in our order. Overall, The Hub Tavern and Grill offers a beautiful ambiance and delicious food, with the exception of the margarita pizza. While the service was a bit lacking, the standout smash burger made up for it. I would recommend giving this place a try, but perhaps be prepared for a potential delay in service.

Absolutely amazing place, the food is fantastic and the service is outstanding. It's really cool when the owner of the restaurant seats you him self. The quality of the food is outstanding ,I had the the angry smash burger probably one of the hottest burgers spice wise I've ever had, my wife had the chicken nachos and we had the electric goat cheese for an appetizer.... I found my new favorite place. We will for sure be back very soon. Thank you again for a great experience!

Food here is really good. Like...I can't wait to go back and told everyone I came into contact with. The wings are incredible! Fried chicken sandwich, pizza, burger. All delicious! Our server was nice but not very interactive. The music was really strange. It wasn't fun or upbeat. It was like someone had their own Spotify channel going with their weird cousins band playing. Hard to explain, it just didn't fit the vibe. It was borderline annoying. Honestly, the only thing keeping us from coming back is the music.

Our first time eating here. 12/3/23, great atmosphere.After waitress got our drink orders and delivered them we never saw her again for about 45 minutes! Finally got her attention and ordered. Food took along time as well, wasn’t busy at all! Had to look for waitress for a bill! (I normally don’t leave reviews but felt like I absolutely needed to)!!! I spent $100 on our meal! Very disappointed!!

I went here for lunch with my coworkers and really enjoyed the food and the service. You do have to order at the bar or on the app, but the food comes to the table. My drink was very pleasant. I got the margarita that I believe had mint or basil. The nachos are definitely something you want to share. I was surprised by how flavorful the chicken was in it. The wings were pretty large and I did enjoy them. I think my friend for the pulled pork and she really enjoyed it too. I’ll definitely be coming back. I came back and got the chopped salad topped with salmon and told the bartender to surprise me for my beverage. The salad was flavorful and light and the blueberry vodka beverage was so pleasant.

I specifically came in to try the nachos (also can’t wait to try the pizza from the only(?) wood burning oven in kzoo) and they didn’t disappoint! The special during restaurant week is a great value. Nachos were very good. Also ordered wings and a couple beers. They were good too. Highly recommend and I’ll be back. Second visit: got a smash burger. See photo. Good stuff.

After attending the Kalamazoo Bourbon Fest, we decided to stop in and grab a bite to eat. We were NOT disappointed! There was a great energy from the guests and staff. We found a couple of open seats at the small bar off to the side. Our bartenders were very personable and made a couple of great cocktails. We split an order of the mussels and a truffle mushroom pizza. They were both fantastic! Great flavors, cooked well, healthy portions. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely return to try another menu item. Cheers! 🤗🍕🦪
