The staff here is incredibly respectful! I lost my wallet a couple of days ago, and the staff held onto it for me. On top of that, the food was DELICIOUS. Their breakfast tacos tasted homemade. I could say the same about the horchata, and I’m normally really picky about where I get my horchata from.

Delicious Flour Tortilla Tacos of Beef! "Gringa" and "Campechana" tacos I highly recommend. 😋 Tableside Guacamole is Fresh too. Great Service by Waitress Jessica and cooks.

If you haven't had the gringa quesadilla... or at least the especiales de trompo (the tacos)...then idk what to say. Seriously try them. Julio's new neighbors are great, too, but don't forget about this spot.

If you love tacos Al Pastor, please ignore the low ratings. I cannot understand how anyone could rate them anything less than five stars. They are by far the best in the city of Houston and are as close as we will find to Takerate or Califa (for true DF taco aficionados). I have no idea about breakfast tacos, but that seems to be wearing the lower ratings come from.

I didn’t expect the food to be so cheap and so delicious! 😋
Usually the appetizer is chips and salsa but I liked that here they gave you charro beans and salsa 😆
I got enchiladas regulares. Not what I expected but it forced me to try something new and I quite liked it! My husband got a trompo torta and it was very tasty as well.
We will definitely be back when we want a quick and easy meal.

I was a little skeptical based on the to-go packaging, but the tacos were excellent, including the tortilla. The server I ordered from was professional and helpful.

Love going back to Tacos de Julio for breakfast or lunch. Always hits to satisfy that hungries spot!! Never disappointed or left hungry with their well served portions.
