Uptown Tapas

I actually had a decent time. It was pretty busy but the bar was accessible and the bar on the patio had a very efficient lady bartender that has to be commended but idk her name unfortunately..the food was tasty and came out really quick and prices were very fair.. It seemed everyone was enjoying themselves, the women were beautiful .. if there was one issue which I have w most clubs w a dj n mc is the mc is so overbearing that if I'm close to a speaker he might wail out something random every three seconds and feel like I'm in front of the stage an Im personally not of fan of that because I bring guest and like to talk to them in the establishment.. forgive me if my expectation is off because thats not a slight towards your style of business; I just might like then lounge setting more. But overall I recommend checking it out on the lit night like tonight (sat) or a casual weekday. Great job to the urban hookah team n keep up the good work.

Waitress was friendly and attentive, checked on us multiple times which honestly I’ve become unaccustomed to around Houston but this was a turn around thank goodness. She put the hookah in at the table and it was literally there within a few minutes! Also the hookah guy came and refilled the coals without us asking. That plus the drink prices was just excellent. Side note: I’m small and can’t drink much so I asked for a lil extra mixer and they accommodated for both drinks. Super happy with this spot! And they had open (free) tables until 9 on a Friday! Almost unheard of these days in Houston

When we arrived at about 9pm Saturday night, the vibe was laid back and lounge-like with a few people having drinks and hookahs. A couple of tables were reserved, but a good number of other tables were available on a first come basis. I was delighted to get one of the tables because we got to chill, have drinks, make conversation, keep eyes on a basketball game on tv, and occasionally get up to dance to the upbeat music. Later, it got packed with a nightclub feel for even more dancing into the night.
