I frequent the montrose location but was in the area to try this one not bad.

Hey, listen, I just tasted this restaurant for the first time, good food overall. The brisket was smoky, tender and awesome. Chicken was good, sausage was good, but a bit on the dry side. Potato casserole needed more butter and cream. Great fried okra, potato salad was also good. So all in all, I would suggest the brisket, beans, okra and chicken. Good restaurant.

They have excellent beef, you know the kind we all want but seldom get. Tender, fat trimmed off, melt in your mouth, full flavor beef! That is what you get , consistently!!! Great loaded baked potatoes with beef or maybe try the pulled pork...it's also fabulous!👍👍

I have been eating from here for years and have always liked it. I however have not actually been in to eat there in a very long time. I ate there this afternoon. The food at this place is pretty f-ing awesomeness and so much better when eaten there. Like next level sh!t. Their fried okra should be a life coach for other fried okra who wanna strive for greatness. - I looking straight at you Papa's BBQ and Churches. I would drive thru Brookstreet just to get a fried okra snack - much like McDonald's French Fries.

Oh my lord, the chooped beef sandwiches are amazing here. So much that on my most recent visit I grabbed two of them via the drive through. Most of my experience here is by dining in so I was surprised when I got to my hotel that there was no pickles, onions or extra sauce which they normally put on tray. So mental note to myself that I have to request it & check my order before pulling off.

Food was good and the place was nice and clean. Only one other customer when I arrived. And he was already sitting down. The young lady was nice and helpful. However, they got my sides wrong. And I didn't realize it till I got home. (To go order) If the place was really busy I might understand, but nothing was going on. Lots of parking!

This place is wonderful nice people and amazing food! I must say the pics of there meals look wonderful but its even more magically delicious once you get a taste of there food! The banana pudding is freaking amazing ! I have never had banana pudding that good! I wish I can eat a whole pan! The sausage is cooked great that guy that cuts the meat he do a fabulous job on cooking and cutting her is very well experienced he must be a chef well he deserves to be at least the mash potatoes are great too! I wish they where open now and I just left this place today. Will be back there tomorrow !! I'm a picky eater. I feel like everyone should at least try this place once don't knock it till you try it! Don't let one bad review sading you or the crew y'all come try this Brookstreet BBQ !!!!!
