Pappas Bar-b-q

Tiana was the first person to welcome us and take our order. She was amazing! Excellent customer service. She was very nice and got our long order correct. The Manager Julio was also very nice. The place was also very clean. I also like that they do two types of cheese on the cheese fries. The only thing I would improve is the lady cashier. She charged my order wrong. She also charged the people that sat behind us wrong. She charged a random guy’s order into theirs so one guy ate for free until the couple noticed and figured it out. Cashier needs to be more attentive to what she is doing….

I ordered lunch online for pickup for my department. Service upon pickup was great. They accommodated all my requests for extra cheese and butter, and to-go containers for the self serve condiments. I get back to work and we find that my supervisor's meal is missing her creamed corn. I call, get a manager on the line and he apologizes and immediately remedied my issue by remaking the entire meal. I did have to go right back and pick it up, but at least they made it right and worth my time, effort and gas to go back. The food we ordered was very good, but I appreciated the customer service more!

I really love a good BBQ and this place is really good. It's one of the few places to get beef ribs, and I love the ones here. But, this time I had the Fried Catfish. The catfish itself was delicious. I got 2 large fillets with fries and coleslaw. Tartar sauce and cocktail sauce were provided as well. I didn't care for the fries. They were too soft for me. And the cocktail sauce was still frozen. Normally that would reduce my rating, but I have been eating here because I love the Bar-B-Q not the fries or cocktail sauce. Get an onion loaf instead of fries.

The environment is clean, and the service is fast. Although most customers take their order to go. We ordered the family board 3-4 people with a chopped beef potato. The portion that filled 3 of us up real good. Pappas BBQ's BBQ is pretty good, especially their ribs. Some other BBQ place their ribs are either too dry or plain. Their ribs are flavorful and just rightly cooked. Pulled pork and brisket and sausage are all above average. The most surprising part is their sides. I ordered texas dirty rice and coleslaw, and they are both pretty special. Not like other places' dirty rice and coleslaw. The menu price on their Google map profile is way out of date. Hope they can update it or check out the menu photo I post.

I was hungry and wanted something simple to eat so I stop by to get a chopped beef baked potato. The place was pretty busy went through drive thru didn’t take long. But soon as I started to dig in I noticed the potato was very hard I tried to eat it because I was hungry. Then after so many bites I realized I couldn’t eat anymore so I called and ask for a manager after holding for more than 5 minutes she came on the phone. She was very professional and understanding. She told me to bring it back I was so tired but I went back she fixed me a new one herself. And gave me a drink on the house. I will give 5 stars for that reason alone. Customer service is everything to me. Thanks for a wonderful experience. I do recommend.
