Haven't had a good deep dish since moving from Chicago. This one definitely hit the spot. The service was amazing and our server was very attentive. The pics and garlic bread were extremely tasty. I can't wait to go back.

I've only gotten take out from here once, but the last time I picked up I told myself that I would come back to sit down. So the next time I order from here, I'll be sitting in a booth. This pizza is great. 2 days in a row I have ordered the 6-in Chicago style starburst (no mushrooms) pizza. It has been on point. The crust is phenomenal. It has a great crisp to it and has not become soggy, even after me not being able to finish the whole thing at once and having to put it in a refrigerator. The toppings and sauce are the perfect ratio.
The second time that I ordered, I got the garlic cheese breadsticks ( with marinara for $1). Those are some cheesy sticks! The cheese had a great pool to them, they were hot and warm and crisp. The garlic is not overpowering the flavor, it is just right. I'm just satisfied overall with my order and can't wait to get a chance to sit down and enjoy the dine in service here, as well. But whenever I walk in to pick up my order , I'm greeted with a smile and a friendly face. I walk right up to the counter and someone pops up and helps. It's just a good place overall.

Long time staple in the Houston pizza scene. The deep dish is a hybrid version from Chicago, but it's really good even though it isn't a traditional deep dish.
They also have private rooms for celebrating special occasions.

Amazing pizza and garlic bread. I usually don’t do barbecue pizza but the Cowbell brisket pizza was legit. It’s what a Texas pizza should be. Sweet with a little spice and enough cheese to cover three pizzas piled up on this. Julie was our server and she was the best. On top of everything and super friendly. Will definitely be back to try the Chicago style next time.
Oh do not miss out on the cheesy garlic bread. Legit was to the max.

Amazing pizza with great service in a laid-back atmosphere. If you want a great appetizer, try the cheesy garlic bread. It is amazing. Be sure to try one of their signature specialty pizzas (I always get the Ben's).

I stopped by on a whim yesterday and a hurry. I was waited on by Norma (maybe Nora?). Anyway, she's new to the restaurant (I asked) but she's an old hand with customer service. I didn't feel rushed, she was clear, detailed about the options, really friendly, and overall made this a great experience. She even offered me a to go beverage free of charge 😊. The pizza was delicious & hot 🔥, like wait a few minutes hot lol. I'm a New Yorker and I take my pizza serious. I also spoke with Alex who was front of house and he was just as amazing. I tipped almost half of my bill because their service was impeccable and topping it off with delicious food...well it doesn't get any better. I'll be a customer as long as I live in the H. Best pizza I've had here by far 😋.

Impeccable crust. Great sandwiches. GF pizza was very good. Homemade ranch and spicy ranch were both on point. Very good. Great service from Norma and good vibe throughout the restaurant. Might be the best pizza and sandwich I’ve had in memory.

Super yummy food. I had the Starburst Chicago deep dish pizza, meat lasagna, and the pasta with homemade meatballs. The deep dish pizza was so good. It was packed with ingredients and so flavorful. The meat lasagna had so much meat, cheese, and sauce in the piece. It was unbelievably delicious. The lasagna came with salad, and garlic bread. Both sides were yummy too. The pasta with homemade meatball was delicious. The meatball was huge, and burst with flavors. Two thumbs up!
The restaurant has cool vibes. It has nice outdoor seating area, and interior looks chill. It is a good restaurant for families. Service staff were friendly and attentive. Thumbs up!

I love this little restaurant. It’s in a very old building that has a lot of history on the walls, a lot to look at. I love places like this that are different, unique.
I ordered the chicken, avocado & bacon sandwich on wheat bread with potatoes. The sandwiches come with a side of pasta or baby potatoes. My friend had the pasta, so I was able to taste both sides.
I loved the potatoes. They were roasted and just the right amount of crispy. The pasta salad was seasoned perfectly, and tasted delicious. The sandwich was very good as well!
The waiter was friendly, helpful, and very attentive.
If you’re looking for someplace different from the every day, usual chain-restaurant, give Star Pizza a try. Hopefully you will find this place worthy of returning again and again, as I did.
