Love this place, but sadly when I drove by yesterday I saw a For Lease sign. I hope it's not true!

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. In a nutshell. Food portions are great. Prices are still very reasonable.
This restaurant closes early every tuesday around 1pm. Restaurant hours are 10-8pm Everyday except tues. I love this place my other favorite chinese restaurants are Mui Kwai Kaneohe & Chinese Garden in Kailua. Senator Akaka's family eat
here a lot!!!

Amazing quality fresh food, great prices and family owned and run. Staff is welcoming and attentive. Just like going to auntie's house for dinner and auntie can cook!

I love the old taste of Chinatown like Tin Tin Chop Suey. Pauoa Chop Suey brings back memories of some of my favorites that I used to enjoy. Some may be "greasy spoon" old fashioned dishes but taste so good.
If you are like me and enjoy the traditional local taste and not so much of the fusion dishes then this may be the place for you too.

Came here all the time, decent, reasonably priced Chinese comfort food. Rice not very good though, we'd do take out and make our own. Shrimp egg my fav.

I've ordered from here, probably 15 times and the portions were always large enough to save half for lunch the next day! Plus, the prices were very affordable. It goes without saying that the food here is super good!

Tasty Chinese food in Paoua. Easily missed restaurant as this is a somewhat busy intersection. Tucked away on the corner near the entrance to the Pali Highway.

Great little local hangout for (mostly) Cantonese style Chinese food. The food is good and the portions are generous, but the prices are a bit high (I paid $12.50 for a to-go order of bok choi with garlic and an order of rice).

My go-to Chinese restaurant. Minutes from home and AWESOME food, GREAT prices. Friendly, thorough and quick service; they treat you like family here. Fried foods aren't greasy, authentic (as far as I can tell) Cantonese flavors and preparations. Parking lot in back is limited and can be tight but the side street should have lots. Everything I've tried was wonderful. I always get "big eye" and order lots but be warned portions are big. Crispy gau gee on cake noodle, black bean asparagus or choy sum, pot roast pork with taro, fried shrimp balls, mongolian beef and char siu fried rice is my regular order. Go eat there TONIGHT.

I go there once a week and it is always great eating. Never had a bad meal there. My sons live eating there also. They make my sons feel very welcome there. We have been eating there for at least 15 years now. My mother is vegetarian. They are willing to adjust the different meals to accommodate my mother as a vegetarian she loves it there. Will continue to eat there for Chinese food as our first choice. It's not a large place as some other Chinese eating places and parking in the back can fill up fast at times leaving you to park on street. But worth it. Hope you enjoy eating there as much as we do. Hope this helps you...
