Went to First Friday today. Great to see people out wandering around and the various galleries (Pohl, Hopper, Marks Garage) and the stores open late. The Hawaii Theater always has people dressed to the nines and excited about some show. But right across the street is Cake Envy and a great spot to enjoy the best cheese cake or gelato. We didn't feel like dinner out, but I'm always ready for impossibly good desert. Amazing. Better than dinner any day.

Every time I stop by Cake Envy I'm surprised there isn't a line out the door. The cheesecakes here are the best I've ever tasted. Not too too rich but definitely satisfying. I've tried a few flavors and they always knock them out of the park. Pro tip: get a scoop of gelato and an espresso and mush it all up in one bowl. Cheesecake + gelato + espresso. You're welcome :)

濃厚かつ後味さっぱりしていて美味しかったです。
アメリカンか豪快な味ではなく、日本よりの繊細な味でした。
店内もオシャレで落ち着いた雰囲気でした。

The place looked closed as we walked by until we got to the front door.
The selection is small but very good, cheese cakes with various toppings. I had Lilikoi which was very good. You can also purchase Gelato and sorbet. Perfect if you love dessert do it a meal or want to have dessert after a meal downtown.
