My husband enjoyed a taco salad and I had a burrito, both we good. If you go in mid-day, sit close to the bar because D is a one person show and she does it well 🤙🏼

Wonderful staff with excellent service. Margaritas by the glass or pitcher... what else could you ask for to accompany authentic Mexican food!

Service was excellent despite clear short staffing. Servers were friendly and smiling even as they were bouncing between tables trying to keep thing moving. Job well done. Food was very good and fresh. Plates came out scalding hot so I believe the food was ready for a bit of time before finally being served. I'm ok with that and thankful for the staff hard work. Atmosphere while a bit dated still has the mexican feel.

Good food. Starting with a pitcher of margaritas, chips and salsa! Shredded beef taco salad then pork chops and spinach burritos. The wife of the manager brought us her Friday dessert so I ordered ice cream to go with it!! Delicious chocolate chip squares! Super evening!

Service good - wait staff limited (so be kind to her and to management)
If in a hurry keep in mind to arrive early and prepare for slow service due to limited staff.
Good place for a drink and enjoy a private bar atmosphere.

Big Kahuna burrito is the bomb!!! Strawberry Margaritas was delicious and very refreshing. Service was fantastic.

We randomly came into Jose’s today after running errands. The place was not busy and the wait staff was very nice.
I got the fish tacos (Mahi Mahi) and they were absolutely amazing. Very large portions. So much so that I used the second tortilla that was placed under the tacos and made another taco. The fish was cut into chunks. Add a little lemon and it is perfection.
My spouse only eats Vegan/ Vegetarian and our waitress Sara recommended the Vegetable burrito. It is literally the best vegetarian burrito my husband has ever ever had. We highly recommend it and will be coming back.

Nice inobtrusive place to hang in the hood. I like camping at the bar. Meatball soup and Carnitas are my go-to's!

Celebrated Mardi Gras a little early with Carnitas andxTecate. Sorry, no pics. Slow, but food still consistent. Friendly bartender. Hopefully, the restaurants that survived will get back on their feet soon with steady business. Small, early happy hour crowd. Always adjust, and they should do fine. 🤙✌

Still serving good food. Service is a little different. Faces have definitely changed, so it's not the same neighborhood friendly feel but still a nice option. ✌️

Locally owned old school business. Service is friendly and great!!!
I just over-heard a tourist asking a server basically custom made guacamole and a server was dealing with her with grace.
Their #childrensmenu #keikimenu maybe the most affordable in the area. Plus, at the end of meal, they let your kid pick up some toy from the treasure chest!!!
Portion is large. Perfect place for group dining and to order a marg pitcher
