Denny's

We were in Waikiki for five days we had breakfast at Denny's on Kapahula every morning. The food was great the staff was exceptional the manager is an asset to the hospitality industry always friendly and made sure everything was perfect the staff and manager remembered us every day. The server we had this morning 12/1/2023 was Alexander…their service was exceptional. Very nice, very courteous. Anything I asked for whether it be for more condiments or substituting items, very accommodating. Very fast and friendly service. It’s been awhile since my partner and I cleared our dishes. The food was delicious as well….compliments to the chefs. All around I loved coming to the Waikiki Dennys for my first dine in experience. Would definitely come again and recommend Alexander as your server.

This is the best Denny's we have been to. The service was second to none. The entire staff from the hostess, server and bus boy were very friendly and approachable. They made sure every aspect of our visit was memorable. I have a granddaughter with down syndrome who was provided with special attention. She glowed from the extra attention, it was wonderful to see. The food for the children came first, staff asked if that was okay before doing so. The food was hot and presented excellently. The entire order (4 adults,2 kids) was perfect, no mistakes. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Definitely recommend this location.

Good choice if you are looking for slightly more affordable breakfast. This diner plays classic 50s 60s music, like Bobby Darin Brenda Lee, the Drifters, etc. - it really complements the diner vibe. All the diners I have been to do not play vintage music but this place does. Love that! Interior is well-kept and clean, and portions are good. Walkable from Waikiki Beach. Minimal parking.
