This is my favorite safe pick for Thai Take-out if you live anywhere around the Punchbowl-Makiki-Nuuanu area. The Curries and Pad Thai are very good and the food is ready to pick up very quickly. There is seating but I would only recommend takeout.

I have been eating at Bangkok Chef Nuuanu for over 15 years now. It's a hole in the wall place that you may not expect to have good food, but it's actually delicious. You can sub tofu in any of the dishes which is great for vegetarians.
Try it out and you might be impressed.

Consistently good Thai fast food. Pad Thai is a standard. Various chili dishes with a range of spices. Medium hot is fairy medium. Love the roll up garage door at the Nuuanu location. Tight parking in front but there’s more in back.
