Il Tappo

My and two of my girlfriends were in Waikiki for four nights staying at the Hilton. We were so happy to find such an amazing restaurant in the hotel!!! We were here for four nights and came to Il Tappo three of those. We would have probably came all four but they are closed on Sunday lol! Seriously a great restaurant, fabulous food, and beautiful setting. Don’t miss this spot while you are here!

Amazing! The best lasagna ever! Keep walking - don’t stop at the Cheesecake factory! This is so much better! Upstairs at the Hilton Hotel on the corner of Lewers and Kalakua— Across from Tiffany’s on Waikiki. Quiet, intimate, meal. Not a chain. Lovely atmosphere. Great people, superior food!!

Recently had dinner here with my daughter. Everything was excellent! Server was very nice and brought us a few samples of wine to choose from. Picture is of the salami crostini which was delicious. We also had the lamb and lasagna which were both top-notch. Setting was incredible - nice view overlooking the street. The owner, who is from Italy, stopped by and chatted for a few minutes. Highly recommend this place!

My wife and I went to this place because a friend of ours recommended it to us and definitely it was an incredible experience for us. As soon as we arrived in we had someone to guide us to the table, we decided to order lasagna and it was so good. We also ordered some drinks and they were pretty good too. We went to the restaurant around 8pm and it was slow, but when we staffed about it she said it was slow at that time, but they had a rush 1 hour ago. To avoid lines up, just make a reservation. Definitely we loved our experience here, we will come back and recommend them to family and friends. See you soon

One of the best Italian restaurants my husband and I have been to in a while!!! Lasagna was absolutely to die for! It tastes very homey and delicious and is even baked in a ceramic bowl 🤤 We enjoyed everything we ordered and nothing certainly went to waste 😋 My husband and I came here two days in a row on our vacation we loved it that much! Very nice staff and management as well! Highly recommended, very good quality as well!

Gorgeous place. The decor and ambience was incredible. Located on second floor in plaza. A little bit tricky to find entrance (through hotel lobby on the right). Food was really good. Beautiful presentation. Staff nice and helpful. Pizza was a little cold when they brought it out, and waitress kept forgetting to bring a glass of wine, no big deal. Highly recommend.
