Could do with better decor it feels very old & dark inside but for what it is it is decent, not that expensive & the food was very good. If you're wanting a pub lunch with no frills & decent food, then definitely give this place a try. We will be back.

Work night out!! We had booked the pub out for a quiz night. The atmosphere was great, the staff friendly and helpful. Food was basic, but nice. Does need some refurbishment, apart from that a great wee pub and great night had

We have lived in the Hamilton area for nearly 11 years and have walked past Jilts Bar every time we go into the town centre. From the outside it looks like a very small place so never ventured in until a few weeks ago. My god the place is massive, with lots of tables for sitting to have a meal or a drink. The menu has lots of options to suit everyone's taste, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely make this one of our favourite places to eat.

Yes we both very welcome service was up to it's usual standard. My wife had stake pie and I had cheese pasta. I normally have the stake pie but thought I'd change and it was braw. Next time I might just go through the next one in the menu. Thanks for your help and service. Yes this time I had the curry and it was gr8 as well.
This time we both had the Stake pie again back to my normal meal and was still superb.

Enjoyed lunch here. The combo for 2 was tasty and the kids portion of mac and cheese spot on. The staff were helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced
