It's a great place, with a huge variety of drinks and food with some twist. We tried the famous nachos and that were delicious, with a twist. We booked a table before going and would recommend doing that always as this place is crazy busy. In summers they have indoor and patio dining and the domes are only available in winters (that's what I was excited about).. The music was crazyy and it seemed like a pub of Toronto downtown.. I didn't like the service and kind of felt unwelcomed there. The server was always in a hurry and after we finished eating she just brought the bill, which we didn't ask for. We felt like after we had the food, we should leave as there were other people waiting for table but we wanted to spend some time there and continued ordering drinks. I saw the reviews which said the service and servers are great and I didn't feel that way. May be it was our server, or may be she's new.. Washrooms are clean, there is parking, there is security, it's wheelchair accessible, the location is beautiful and the music is lit. I would love to go again.

went there tonight with my boyfriend, we had a fantastic meal and amazing drinks. I would definitely recommend this place! I ended up staying a while with a friend who showed up. Angie was my server the entire night and they were absolutely fantastic! I would definitely recommend this place for great customer service and amazing food and drinks! We were drawn here from the nice cocktail and unique dishes on menu. We had the baby nachos, big Mac tacos, sweet chili Thai wings and the baked garlic shrimp. Baby nacho is perfect for sharing. It has a little bit of everything in it such as Nachos, waffle fries(my fav),taters and this other nacho shape chip(texture is similiar to taco Bell's cinnamon twists). Even the baby nacho is pretty large so be aware of that before considering the daddy nacho(the large version) The Big Mac taco is the way to go if you like Big Macs. It comes in three and taste just like McDonald's but better. The flavour of it is bolder and the meat/bun/sauce ratio is spot on. The wings are cooked right and not overly seasoned with Thai sauce. The baked garlic shrimp was delicious. The size of shrimp were large and when having it with the toast dipped in the sauce it's a beautiful thing. Enjoyed the visit here and would definitely drop by again the next time I'm in Hamilton. Patio looks great and would love to dine out there when whether permits.

From reading all the great reviews of Cause & Effect I was expecting it to be pretty good. This was not the case at all. Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had. We arrived just before 5:30pm, sat down and ordered drinks. It took over 20 minutes for the server to bring a beer and a virgin mojito. We ordered food which also took forever, and was not even worth the wait. We waved the server down when drinks were empty to let her know we needed drinks and that there was a chip in the beer glass. After we ordered our food maybe 15 mins later the server came over and asked us if we wanted to order food...again. I could understand being a bit slower with service in the place was actually busy which it was not. I would not recommend going here ever and we will 100% never be back.
