Amo Gelato Cafe

I’ve always loved Amo Gelato but have noticed in the last few years that the customer service has gone downhill greatly. Last night I went in, I was greeted by one person, the others on their phones and packing up, I understand that it was close to the time of closing… At the till, the interaction was very short, I complimented her nails, and she said “thanks, that’s $7.48 debit or credit?” I’ve been told there’s another ice cream shop that’s opened up on locke, I think I’ll give their business a try moving forward. Thank you for the gelato, but your staff need a refresher on customer service

Lots of variety and fair pricing. I only had one flavour, Nutella and that was filling enough. A friend I was with ordered after me and was told they could not pay with cash unless exact as they didn't have much change left. They luckily ended up having enough. The employee added debit/credit only to the flavour sign afterwards. Should be better prepared as there was a steady flow of customers.

Price is good, product is great, just wish service was better... can be over whelming going to a new place with todlers and trying to keep everyone happy. Server was not willing to put two flavors in a cup unless we got a bigger size, if she took the time to explain it was only $1 more i would of agreed, but didnt want to give the kids a bigger serving of dessert and went back to request a sample of a different flavor and was denied so had to purchase an additional cup but turned out to be delicious at least. Once again great product but the customer service just seemed far from satisfactory. More ideal for adults looking for a nice dessert while out on a walk. hidden gem for sure

Deeeeelicious. My family in Italy always says the tell of a good gelateria is how they make their pistachio, and Amo’s pistachio was perfect! Rotating flavours and dairy free options with classic gelato staples, you can’t go wrong with a visit! We didn’t take any pics because quite honestly it was too good to stop eating.
