Great little place. The only negative was a really loud & noisy group of men (not youngsters) who had no volume control. Not a problem for the staff but I had real problems hearing conversation at my table. On all other occasions, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

We went Old Salty's for breakfast a group of 4 staying in Glasgow for 2 days. After a bad experience in Simone's we thought we'd try Old Salty's. We were taken back with the customer service received, if I could give 6 stars I would. From being served by Adam and Julie the service was outstanding, food was amazing. would definitely recommend and will be coming here again. This is how it should be done. Thanks

The very best classic fish and chips! Our servers were two sisters ( can’t recall their names) and they could not have been more friendly and attentive. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Glasgow.

Top class place. We had the full Scottish breakfast and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. Very cosy atmosphere with seats upstairs and bar stool tables at the window downstairs. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend. Bill was about £25 for two Cappachinos and two full Scottish breakfast with black pudding, tattie scone, two slices of bacon, fried egg, toast, beans, square sausage, mushrooms and tomato.

Everything about my visit to Old Salty's was brilliant! From the friendly and helpful staff to the tastiest dishes. For anyone who is gluten free, this is the place to be! They have an abundance of gluten free options, even battered fish & chips - amazing !!!

I've not even finished eating and felt the urge to recommend this place, omg the food is amazing! It's a cross between a chip shop and Italian, sounds weird but it works! My daughter had black pudding and chips, I went for an Italian dish, chicken garlic and mushroom sauce, the best I've ever tasted! Thank you so much

Very friendly service and a good atmosphere and location. My favorite part of this meal was the mishy peas. The mint is a great addition in the recipe. While the fish was great quality and good portion size, it was also lacking flavor. Some added seasoning would make this a 5 star. Using salt/pepper and vinegar doesnt take the place of proper seasioning however i know its all personal preference 😁. I can still say it was a good place to enjoy a good meal

I've been living in Glasgow for one year now, and when visitor's come to town this is the place I recommend for fish. It's excellent food with a very diverse menu. The service is top notch, too!
