The Wild Crab

I went for the 1st time last week on a Thursdays. It wasn't packed at all and the service was great. The selection was 4 styles but you can still make it your own. It was a little pricey for 2 ppl we both got soups, drinks and 2 pounds of shrimp and with tip I spent $60 for my party 120 total. I do recommend getting just 1 pound of your own bag with the items.

Went here with a coworker from 330pm to 530pm. He wanted to celebrate his 2-3 months at the job. He paid for everything. It was over $106+. It wasn't busy. Food was so damn good. I couldn't finish or barely touched what I ordered (fish and chips and popcorn shrimps) for myself. I grossly underestimated the portion size of the #3 combo he ordered for us. We split that combo. My bag was with mild shrimp, corn and a potato. His was spicy shrimp, corn, 5 sausages, and a potato. And he also took the lobster. Bagged everything I couldn't finish to take home. And I made sure to get the complimentary ice cream and some kind of sugar bun. Definitely a good spot for the family or a date. I'll definitely be bringing a date here for sure. Service was on point. Always checking in and making sure our drinks were filled.

First time seeing this place. I'm in hotel right across the street. I ordered one pound of snow crab to go. I wasn't that impressed when I first pulled the plastic bag out of the paper bag. But then I ripped open the plastic bag and the aroma hit me. (they also give you the big wax paper sheet folded up in your bag. They put those on the table in the restaurant I'm guessing, to avoid a mess. Smooth move I must say. Lol anyway, bottom line, it was amazing. I loved it. I only intended on eating half and saving a bit for later. That didn't work out. I ate every bit of it. It was so good. It comes with a small red potatoe and corn cob all drenched in that tasty sauce. I got the "popular" sauce, they said (a mix of all 3, garlic butter and 2 others) and ask for medium heat (spiciness). I really love spicy food so I can handle heat, but recommend not going above medium. It's pretty spicy but not so much that you don't thoroughly enjoy the flavor. If you get it togo make sure you have something to crack the shell with. They only gave me a weak plastic fork and knife set. Any good pair of scissors works just fine. 😁

This is a great crawfish place with many similar restaurants in Orange County. The price and the food selections are similar to others but the quality if crawfish and services are great. There not many parking spaces right in front of the restaurant but you can park at another parking lot behind and walk over.

+ Wait time is usually reasonable during peak hours. + They are willing to accommodate larger parties (my friends booked up to 40 people). + I mainly eat crayfish while I'm here and I dig how their sauces tastes + They have like a common area before you enter their gendered bathrooms. It has several sinks, making it really easy to clean your hands. + Service is pretty good, usually. + Menu selection is on par with most other Cajun places * Bathrooms could be cleaner. * Prices are middling. Food recommendation: all sauces with a lb. of crayfish and their garlic noodles. I would go here more often if I lived by it. If invited by friends, I'll usually go.
