I am very surprised to see the 3.4 rating at this place. I think it’s clear they’ve improved. Do not let that discourage you from coming and trying this place out. You do get charged an additional amount for using a card. No tip was added to my check but I assume it’s for large parties.
You are promptly greeted once you come in! You get seated and get free salsa (to die for, I need that recipe) and chips while you wait for your food. It was so good that when I remembered to take a picture we had demolished it. The place was very clean and you are asked multiple times how you are doing. Excellent customer service. Definitely worth the trip. Food comes out fresh and hot!
For picky eaters like myself, they will accommodate for what you ask for. In my case, I did not want the beans and rice that came with the fajitas and gave me a huge portion of fries. The burger pictured should be bigger but a child ordered it and had a lot of things taken out from what it originally comes with. Excellent customer service!

Delicious! Came to this authentic taco stand while we were staying at some cabins at Lake Lanier. Delicious food and friendly service. Chatted with the owner and discovered they have been in business for over 25 years!

Very little food being Priced higher than many other restaurants in this category. Price would be ok if portions were more. My torta was small like a grilled cheese sandwich smh

The food is good i don't recommend taqueria Durango because they add tips to your check, sorry this was one of my favorite places not anymore.hey the food is the best.

There steak tacos are delicious. I'm hoping to try their hamburger. The only problem was when we were told the menu prices had changed. Like one reviewer addressed this issue :The menu should reflect the current prices- otherwise, it makes a customer feel like it's a scam.

Horrible service. Food was alright not the best. Overpriced food. I went to the bathroom, it was a mess and didn't have any toilet paper. On my way back to my table there was a dead cockroach on the floor. Never going back

Use to love this place! Hadn't been there in a while. This time meat was hard and dry. Shrimp was tasteless. Ridiculous at 50.00 for two! Would rather drive across town than half a mile.

I don't think they overcharged me like some of the other people mentioned but the food was just mediocre and if you like really really hot spicy things this is a place for you. The salsa that they provide on the table are super spicy and each one is hotter than the other.The service was not that good and the food was slow to get there but then again I was the only person in the restaurant at the time. I would like to see it improved.
