Perkins Family Restaurant & Bakery

Seriously? For the price I paid for this “Chicken Strips Dinner”, I could have picked up a bag of frozen Tyson tenders, bag of frozen fries, and a box of Kraft mac, which I’m pretty sure that this is all of that at 1/8th the portion. The “Mac N Cheese” was hard and overcooked, could tell as I could pick up a single “noodle”and an entire block comes up with it. Tenders were overcooked, dry, and tasted like old oil. Fries soggy. Was supposed to come with honey mustard, no sauce was included. I’ve had much better meals from a bowling alley.

We had a group of men stop for breakfast. The service by Erin and Amy was five star. They were courteous and friendly. LT the manager was very helpful with the reservations and continue throughout the visit to ensure our comfort. The food was great and all was very satisfied with this selection for dining. We will return again, as a group and individually ..

Ate here recently with an old friend as I was passing through town. I hadn't been to a Perkins in over a decade, but here's what I'd have to say about my experience... For a Sunday morning we were seated quickly. Our waitress and the other who was working our area were both very friendly. They were mature women... not college kids. I know their work is hard, yet they were all smiles, funny and appeared to love their work. I would say my food was OK. It was not remarkable or anything I'd consider special or memorable. Price was fair. Bathroom was clean. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat at this particular restaurant, but if I were in the area and needed a breakfast joint the level of service would make it worth trying again. I'd probably rate it a 3.5... but will round it up based on the employees. A positive attitude goes a long way.

It’s thanksgiving day thank full for the restaurant to be open because I can’t cook in real life.... but any who ..... when I got here I told the young lady how many ppl was with she said ok I waited 15 minutes I got skipped 4 5 times 20 minutes later when I got a table the young lady was sitting in at the next table on break have a good ole time it took them another 10 minutes to get some to get my party a drink then that don’t have anything that’s on the menu online everything that we wanted they did not have food was cold the place smelled like a retirement home the older white lady was ok we did not run out off drink but I’ll never come here again......by the way the food gave me diarrhea

We usually enjoy dining at Perkins in other cities. This one made us wait when we arrived, not because there were no tables, but they said there was only one cook. The meal was decent the day we had breakfast. But a few days later when we were back in town we tried to go for dinner. Upon entering, there was an awful odor in the restaurant. Once again we were told they didn't have enough staff so we'd have to wait 20 minutes even though lots of tables were available.
