La Fiesta is consistently in my top 2 for Mexican restaurants in Gainesville. Their queso and guacamole are the best in town. The free salsa and chips can't be beat. Order the queso! Everything I have tried on the menu has been great with 1 exception. They once substituted what tasted like canned chicken in my chicken burrito. I've had it many times but that one night... It was over a year ago so I give them the benefit of the doubt.

We went on a Saturday night, it wasn't crazy busy and we got a table within the first 5 minutes. I must say that the food was ok but the rice and beans were spectacular, the best I've ever had in any restaurant ever!! Our waitress was very nice and got us everything in a timely manner, food, drinks, anything we asked for she was right on top of it. Overall I would go back and I would recommend it. Nice experience.

been eating here for years now. tried keeping it a secret, but word got out. it's more crowded now, but the food is still GREAT. i love mexican food and this is as close as it gets east of TX. also like TX/MX but this is NOT that. i most often have the nachos grande with a top shelf margarita rocks w salt. mmmmmm good!

I came here late at night from my hotel room, After a long day at UF Preview, We sat down service was quick, our food was ready in under 5 min. meanwhile they gave us a plate of chips and salsa to snack on, and they were delicious, our food was great, I loved that they made it how I wanted (I'm very picky about my food) Great Restaurant!

Relocated this restaurant next door to Red Lobster just off Newberry Rd on 69th St. (near original site) My favorite Mexican restaurant. Open for lunch and dinner.
