Mi Apa Latin Cafe

What a gem! Ordered the Ybor City Cuban, Elena Ruz, chicken empanadas. I can’t say a bad thing about anyone of these items, they were all delicious. I really can’t say a bad thing about the entire visit. Their service is expedient and friendly. Food comes out quick. You can walk up to the express window, go through the drive through or eat inside/outside. The presentation on paper plates is not ideal but when you taste the food and see the total of the check, you don’t care. Value, value value!

Granted I don't know what authentic Cuban food tastes like, I sure do think that Mi Apa hits the nail on the head! I love their Cuban sandwich, Miami sandwich, empanadas, cafe con leches, tres leches, fresh fruit smoothies, and cheese pastries! Their breakfast is delicious too!! Nothing but positive things to say about Mi Apa. :)

From the highway, I saw the billboards and my impression was that this was a restaurant. When I get there, it’s more of a fast food joint. Staff was ultra friendly and not too clean. Went to rest room to wash my hands, I knocked and opened door, got startled when lady came out and stayed, lock must not work. Trash was over flowing. However, staff was friendly and the food was not authentic Cuban food, more like frozen food heated for resale. The staff were not Cuban, more from South America. Overall, if you looking for a quick, fast food style spanish food, it will do but not the best.
