Northwest Grille

Northwest Grill, located in Gainesville, FL, is a true 💎! I arrived 3:30-4PM and had the pleasure of being served by Sean, who is both attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. When I arrived, it was moderately busy with no wait. To quench my palate and thirst, I chose the Mimosa Special, $8 for 4: Peach, Orange, Cranberry, & Pineapple, all with a perfect balance of champagne and juice, with a glass of ice water and a "bowl of lemons". I was, quickly, served a soft, warm, honey wheat loaf of bread and real honey butter, shortly followed by a House salad, made with fresh, baby spinach, arugula, and dark-green, leafy Romaine lettuce, red peppers, plump, cherry tomatoes, sliced red onions, sweet cranberries, and shaved almonds, with choice of dressing: I wisely chose lemon-feta vinegarrette. For my main course, I enjoyed the St Augustine Shrimp, butterflied, lightly battered, then delicately fried to perfection, with fresh, steamed broccoli. This dish will delight any palate. I finished my meal off with the light and creamy Tiramisu and the sweet and fluffy Pineapple Upside-down Cake! I give the NORTHWEST GRILL ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for Quality of food and service, Friendly and Attentive Staff, Cleanliness (including restrooms), Location, and Price/Value.

I love Northwest Grill and order frequently via Bite Squad. However, yesterday I was not happy with my order. The breading on the fried catfish was much darker and saltier than usual, and the sweet tea size shrank from jumbo to very small. UPDATE: It is now 4 days later, and I ordered the same thing again. The fried catfish is back to its' normal greatness. However, this time I can't complain about the small size of the tea; rather, it's the fact that they did not send my tea at all! 2ND UPDATE: Ordered again yesterday. Catfish was great. Tea was jumbo size again, but this time they sent me unsweet tea! Why can they not get the tea orders correct?

We went for Sunday Brunch. We are at 10:15 a.m. and there was no waiting and plenty of seating. I had the blackboard special of steak fillet, scrambled eggs and mushroom quesadilla w/ fries and my friend had the bacon and gorgonzola burger w/fries. Our was delicious. Service was great. Everything above with iced tea and 2 Bloody Marys was $37 plus tip. A lovely start to a Sunday.

Had a late lunch here. I had fried catfish. It was good. My wife had a burger and she liked it as well. The restaurant was quiet and clean. The staff was efficient and friendly. The portions were more than either of us could eat. This is the second time that I've eaten here and I will return whenever I pass through Gainesville.

Again we had a great experience. Even though they are short staffed they were attentive and professional. Our meals were amazing. My husband had thr sesame crusted ahi and I had drunken grouper. Both were great and we had not one complaint! We think we have might found a favorite in Northwest Grille!
