Tea Rose 3.7 This is a lovely elegant little space directly opposite Fairfield Railway Station. It’s not a large place. Five tables inside, two on the street. There’s soft and comforting decor inside. Good chairs and tables too. Nice light inside as well. Beautiful soft jazz playing. This is a lovely place to sit a while and cogitate. I had just a coffee stop today. There’s nice decent coffee on offer here. Loved the minimalist coffee art too. Cute pattern. The famed scones coming out to another table looked amazing. I will definitely have one of those next time.

Such a lovely little cute place! We ended up spending HOURS here. Amazing selection of teas, good coffee and the BEST scones I've ever had. They even have real clotted cream, which I know from experience involves quite a process to make. Everything has such a comfortable, homely feel without it being grandma-ish, but you can tell that all the food is handmade, including the marshmallows and jams. All the tiny details (such as the heart-shaped template used for the chocolate powder on my cappuccino) really add up to a complete experience. And something surprising that impressed me was the owner; all of this was run by a single woman the day that we visited. Despite obviously having her staff-member fail her, she still managed all the tables, baking, coffee-making and cleaning all by herself. My respect goes out to her because she was still so cheerful and friendly! The scones we had were perfectly baked and hot from the oven, everything served in perfect little floral plates and nothing was ever out of place. I'll definitely be returning despite not even living near the area.

Fantastic shop. Staff are really friendly and the coffee is great. The place has a 50s vibe and make it stand out from the rest. If you are a wagon wheel fan the are the ones to get. All are home made.

Devonshire Tea: Soft and crumbley salted scones baked TO ORDER. Excellent lumpy strawberry jam. I enjoyed Leah tea ~ Oolong and raspberyy black tea. Plenty of cream <3 only complaint is not quite (another tsp would have been perfectl enough jam and was presented in tiny jar which were a pain in the arse to get the conserve out of. Much prefer a shallow dish. Thank you for afternoon tea today.

What a lovely experience. You really must go! Cannot fault anything here. Lovely owner, adorable shop decorated just so beautifully. We had devonshire teas and the teas, scones jams and cream yum! What a lovely way to spend with family or friends. Such a unique experience. I believe this would be a great lil place to take dad for Father's Day, mum and you will love it also. You will be so happy if you decide to take an adventure back in time here. We've already planned to go back again soon. Thanks again ladies at The Tea Rose.

Love this place. Travelled more than 30 minutes for a cup of tea and scones. Will do this more often.

Excellent selection of teas, almost a different Variety for every day of the month? Interesting selection of memorabilia. Scones were light and fluffy! Now for the great debate, Devonshire tea, or Cornish? In other words, cream first ot jam ? Either way it was great!
