It has been a very long time since I dined at The Jolly Jug. I am glad that it is still there.
It represents memories of El Monte.
I decided to eat the traditional St Patrick's Day dinner and the food was excellent. The service was very personable, made me feel right at home.
...with Irish Coffee from the bar. Cheers!

Friendly owner and staff delicious food I had the pastrami and my friend had the bed dip.. we split them, coleslaw was tasty.

Great food! I was surprised at how fresh everything was. The quality of the ingredients are excellent. Nothing is frozen. The environment is very welcoming and makes me feel like I’m eating at home. Don’t miss out on this old school gem.

It looks a little dated when you enter, but don't let that fool you. The food is very good. They're also remodeling. The food is fresh. It seems that the owner was our server. He was very friendly.

I love this lil mom n pop restaurant. The foods good, and the restaurant is super clean and neat. It has a very cool vintage vibe. The only downfall is the service is extremely slow but the owner has a great personality and therefore, its downfall is almost forgiving. I recommend it if you aren't in a rush. On the plus side, it's got a cool little bar with a jukebox n all!

The absolute lowest food quality for the absolute HIGHEST price. The worst bacon ever. This place has not been cleaned for over 40 years. Just say NO.
