Excellent customer service not long waiting for food but does get really busy at times more so than most McDonald's Ive been to so much so people crowd the machines and dont seem to want to move and stand in the waiting area so your left queing for ever as you think the machines are being used when it's just people blocking them and not moving so you can order your meal

I love mc Donald's full stop. This one was packed but still pleasant and the food was good.

Say what you want about McDonald’s food, but the service at this particular location was outstanding. Not only was everyone on staff (Saturday, October 14th around 11:00am) noticeably friendly, but also diligently hardworking. In spite of all the rude and impatient customers these people have to deal with on a daily basis, I see many of them cracking smiles and still telling everyone to enjoy their meals and have good days.
One man in particular who stood out to us was Rod. When he noticed I had gotten up from my seat to go retrieve a fork from downstairs, he stopped me in my tracks and went to get me one himself. Not only that, but he also noticed we were missing knives and ketchup packets and came back with some immediately. The rest of our time eating we observed as Rod kept an eye on every table and person in the area, making sure to take away their trash and clean their tables as needed. You can say what you want about that “being his job” but there was a very noticeable difference in the way he approached his duties that you don’t see often. Mad respect to Rod and everyone else on staff. Thanks for being awesome, guys!

I've always forgotten to write a review. But I have to write one for ROD! 🥳 There is no doubt that ROD is the best! 🤠He is always being kind and patient, which I am really grateful for. It is worth mentioning that he is really popular on our Chinese social media. A McDonald's star! Hahahahaha 😸

The best McDonalds we have been so far. Fast service, great food. The older gentlemen serving the upper floor was incredibly nice. He greeted us. He saw that we are tourists because we had a map of the city in front of us, and wrote 6 attractions we must visit with the explanations as a local, with instructions how to get there.

This would have been a full 5 star for fast food. However, the shop front is not spacious enough, which irritates customers, making them rude. The rest of the building is a fine size, just not the ordering space.

Excellent service - best McDonald's ever. Our suitcases were collected and stored for us (we were tourists). Nice table service. An elderly gentleman who worked there was so kind. He told us all the great tourists attractions & how to get there. Helped us with directions to the train station - excellent fellow! Also a young black guy welcomed us, took our suitcases - I love Edinburgh and will be back!

One service guy i dont know his name but he is aged . Given us a wonderful services that we never had. Speechless service. One of the best waiter that i ever seen in my life .he worked in the top floor yesterday
