Amazing visit here!! Warm and comfortable environment, incredible service, delicious food. We both got the full Scottish breakfast and had only amazing things to say!! Would love to return

I’ve heard so many great things about this place and it certainly did not disappoint! The atmosphere was so cozy especially on a rainy day. We were lucky enough to get the window seat!
I ordered the Eggs by the Sea and my boyfriend got the Breakfast pancake stack. Both we delicious!
Would recommend booking as they are really popular.

We came here for brunch. The food was delicious.
It had a good atmosphere, it was quite busy when we were there but that didn't detract from the experience.
They had a peanut butter hot chocolate which was phenomenal.

The service, crockery, decor and food are amazing. Greenwoods was our second choice after being turned away from another brunch eatery that first take bookings. The staff are so incredibly attentive, polite and professional. The food and drinks are well served. Will definitely be bringing family here.

Wonderful breakfast, highly recommend! Very nice and friendly staff. Recommend to reserve table before due to their popularity. We order hot chocolate and hot americano for drink also Full Scottish Breakfast and Chill Pudding, everything are awesome!

Very good.
Note: If you like runny eggs get the poached. Fried is fried dead, apparently there is no over easy.
Everything was tasty. Very busy. Great atmosphere. Everyone seems happy and chatty

We had the traditional Scottish breakfast and the pancake stack breakfast.
Delicious. (Husband wanted runny eggs and we ordered the wrong thing. She didn't understand over easy)

the cafe looks good inside and out i ordered passion fruit vanilla lemonade it was sooooo good and i also ordered banana bread it looks chic and tastes nothing but when we make it at home it tastes better! the pancakes there are very lush and delicious. but how to look at places there are VERY few of them AND IT'S BAD only to order a table, you can sit down and eat in this place or if you come right under the opening, but it's in a row 🦕🦕🦕

Very friendly service and good menu.
There is a wide selection of pancakes or toast and eggs. And of course an englisch breakfast plate.
There is also a good selection of vegetarian breakfast.
Food is fantastic.
A clear recommendation for a great start in the day.

I had breakfast at Greenwoods in Amsterdam 5 years ago and loved it, so I was thrilled to find a location while visiting Edinburgh! It absolutely lived up to my memory of it. I ordered a chai latte with coconut milk and the morning eggs with halloumi. Both were SO tasty. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his full Scottish breakfast and cappuccino. Highly recommend! Also appreciated that we could make a reservation!

A lovely little spot to grab a spot or breakfast or brunch! The interior is cosy and the atmosphere warm and upbeat. I ordered scrambled eggs and toast but I wished I’d ordered what my friend got - the banana bread tumble 🤤 it looked AMAZING! Definitely going back to try that. Prices are good and we managed to get in without a reservation. Definitely a must try in Edinburgh.
