The service at Zest went above and beyond, which really made the experience memorable. You can tell that the staff really care about their customers and the business.
We ordered the chicken tikka massalam and the sag aloo with saffron rice and butter naan, which was just the right amount of food for two people. Our server informed us that the chef has over 30 years of experience, which really shows. The restaurant has limited seating so it’s best to make a reservation for dinner. We will be back soon for more.

From the birthday boy, what an evening fantastic atmosphere. Staff pleasant/ helpful and cheerful and I haven't got to the food yet. What can I say every dish from starters / mains / desert 10 out of 10 a wee hidden gem 👍👍👍👍

The craving for Indian food on a vacation in Edinburgh is highly satisfied by Zest. The hospitality and taste of food are the highlight of this place. Highly recommended if you are in for some spices and curries. Lots of vegetarian options available. Cheers !

Friendly staff made for a lovely dinner. Food was delicious. Vindaloo was excellent without being lethally spicy and the tarkal dhal was very flavoursome

Tried this place after seeing a long wait at another nearby Indian restaurant. Boy am I glad we ended up here. The assorted kebab was moist and flavorful and the peshwari naan was AMAZING. Palok pair and chicken Tika were also very good. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was a little slow to come out but WELL worth the small wait.
