Quiet November evening but service great and food superb. Lovely stuffed guinea fowl but all food well cooked and presented. Unfussy, substantial, delicious food.

Visited for lunch on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised, as French is not my first choice, of the quality of food - had the Ham hock terrine with red onion confit & mixed leaves for a starter and it was excellent as was the main course of L'estouffade of beef cheek with boulangère potatoes with the beef being melt in the mouth and finally the vanilla crème brulée which has to be the best that I have had for a long time. Finally the service was very good and staff were friendly and made you feel welcome.

Brilliant for a friendly, relaxed afternoon meal that was extremely well priced.

A charming bistro in the heart of Leith with warm,relaxed friendly service. Very reasonably priced at 2 courses for £21 or 3 for £26 this is classic provencale food impeccably executed.
From a traditional fish soup with rouille that sang with flavour via roasted rabbit that was moist and tender to a creme brulee that, in all honesty, ranks as one of the best I've had I really cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough
