Fantastic family run takeaway to check out if in central Edinburgh(Marchmount),they have a quick delivery service available and a very good menu , Chicken curry fried rice and Lemon chicken with barbecued spare ribs are a favourite of mine when in town . Could not recommend more! I ordered takeaway as I was craving chinese, and the sweet and sour pork and special fried rice was top notch!! the delivery was super quick and one of the team even gave me a courtesy call (I can't remember who I was speaking to but he was lovely!) to let me know my delivery was coming earlier than anticipated. I will definitely be ordering again! Thankyou :)

Cannot recommend highly enough. I have an allergy to nuts and sesame seeds - Normally a nightmare for a Chinese Takeaway. Here, there are no nuts in the kitchen, and the team always make sure to not use sesame oil on my food. The food is tasty and high quality, especially the Szechuan Style Veg and Tofu. Been ordering for years, still the best in Edinburgh

Best Chinese I have eaten in a long time - I especially LOVE the Chicken & Sweetcorn Soup with it’s peppery kick.. delicious! Only had a handful of bad experiences over the past 2 years but the pro’s far outweigh the cons! Check out the BBQ Sauce it is amazing especially with the ample portions of chips & free prawn crackers to dip into it! Staff are so attentive to their customers too. #DearLocal

We have been ordering from GY for a number of years and have yet to have a single bad experience. There is a vast selection of delicious food available at very reasonable prices. We highly recommend the honey chili chicken, salt and chili spare ribs, and the salt and chili chips - all delectable. The customer service is absolutely excellent - we have had a number of phone calls from the kitchen asking to confirm specific details of a meal before delivery to ensure we have the best possible experience. I have absolutely no reservations in highly recommending GY as one of the finest takeaways in Edinburgh.
