My partner and I went here on the recommendation of a friend after a long journey back from a European city break. The food was absolutely spectacular and great value. In addition, the gentleman who served us was friendly, informative and efficient. We were served incredibly swiftly and greatly enjoyed every element of our meal. We treated ourselves and left with a bill just over £40 between us both for two courses and alcoholic drinks. However, options like the gyros wraps and other smaller bites could see diners enjoy great food for much less. We will definitely be back when we're next in town. Many thanks to the team, we are happy travellers.

As a passionate foodie I have to say this is simply one of the best food outlets in the city. I beg you to try the country sausage heap, it’s divine. Not usually something I’d order but I’m glad I did. This establishment really does make British cuisine look super bland. Thank you ola kala, for putting love into the food you make.

We had a delightful experience at Ola Kala. The food was delicious and authentically prepared. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The pricing was quite reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of the food and service. Overall, a good place to enjoy the taste of Greece in a cozy setting.

The best gyros in Scotland is now even better which I didn't think was possible. Oven roasted potatoes are an upgrade on the chips, the meat is even more delicious, they've got the best pitas and the menu is still amazing value with the best service you'll find in Edinburgh. Great for a quick gyros to go or a proper sit down meal. 11/10.
