This cafe has been around for a while and always position their amazing cakes in an inviting way. Step in and the menu offers so much more. The food is amazing and great quality, served generously. Fantastic friendly service and I am in no doubt the best cafe in Morningside.

So far I have visited La'telve 3 times, and the 3 times I have tried different things, all of them DELICIOUS. I will keep coming as the food is sooo good, the place is very nice, good coffee and the price is really affordable. 100% Recommended!

Was planning on going to merlin across the road but will be coming here again ! Amazing quality and presentation, staff lovely , ended getting cakes to take home , selection fantastic

Good coffee and croissants. Service can be a little slow but overall a great place to have a meal or something sweet. In picture is an almond croissant and a ham and cheese croissant…both tasty

This is my go-to Saturday spot and the best brunch place in Morningside, and possibly, in entire Edinburgh. Everything on the menu is delish, there are plenty of vegetarian options, and the selection of cakes is simply fantastic. You should try the Turkish breakfast, but keep in mind that it’s plenty of food. Simit (a bagel with sesame seeds) is the best I’ve ever had in my life. And coffee here is great, what else can you desire? On top of that, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. No wonder this place is always packed. Best come and see for yourself!

Turkish coffee shop x French patisserie in Morningside. Various brunch options from 9 am onwards. We tested their excellent coffee see photos of cappuccino and their signature La’Telve coffee (tall glass coated in Nutella, espresso and milk foam). The homemade baklava is superb with the right amount of pistachios, light and crunchy soaked in honey but not too sweet. Black Forest cake also very good, very rich.
