A fabulous roast chicken dinner for Mother's Day! My sister had something from the regular menu which she enjoyed Ashwell! The service was excellent! Staff very friendly and knowledgeable and the food was absolutely delicious! Very reasonably priced aswell! Definitely got our money's worth from the 1/2 chicken and trimmings shared between two (could have fed a third person). A nice chilled atmosphere, and good music. I'd recommend it highly as somewhere to eat, or even just to have a drink or two! 😀

Me and a friend came by this place today on our travels. Brilliant service and we were served by Thomas, who is truly a credit to this business. He went above and beyond, ensuring we were happy with his cocktails. Additionally, he created cocktails (not on the menu) based on what flavour profiles we liked. Lovely relaxed environment and for his service alone we would go again.

What can I say about villager. Fab atmosphere always makes me smile walking into here. The staff are so nice and friendly and make your experience a good one. Good selection of drinks and good cocktails. Now let's get onto the food. I've just visited and had their Christmas menu. Nothing short of amazing. The flavours that come from the food served are fab. They just keep hitting your palate one after the other. So we'll done and presented and one of the best I've had. Take it from me you won't be disappointed. Visit and enjoy.

Great night in! My partner and I really had a super time. The staff were friendly and offered some pretty cool drinks. I was worried the food was going to take a while because they had a fair few people dining on Saturday but it came out nice and fast! It's really nice when you go to a place for the first time and they make a good impression. I most certainly will be back especially after the great service from the staff. Thanks guys!
