Stopped at McGills for butcher meat and thought "Oh, never been in that cafe, near lunch time so..." A real feel of a neighbourhood cafe , couthy. Cup of tea and a fruit scone, absolutely first class. My wife had a soup and cheese scone, again first class. We will definitely be going back. Enough said.

Great first visit this morning..
Great bacon roll and a scone , coffee was great and super reasonable prices, they also do take away if needed. We will definitely return, you might need to book a table at the weekend. Outdoor seats available and dog friendly.Thanks to all the staff.
Very much what you expect from a typical cafe. Food and drink again what you would expect, not great vegetarian options though, other than egg/cheese usual offerings. Can get very busy so may need to book? Staff very pleasant and efficient.
