We have been to the Basement a few times and they impress every time.
The drinks are always fun and tasty.
The food is always mouthwateringly good.
Just looking at the food again makes me want to go back. Can definitely recommend!

Excellent place to have delicious Mexican food . The carnitas and birria is 100% legit. Also try the Mexican rice in case you have never .

First time tonight at The Basement, recommended by a friend, lovely food, great cocktails, service was friendly, courteous & appreciated, look forward to my next visit.

Went here on a busy Saturday evening, booked a table for 9pm. It was full, rather loud and very very warm inside.
Small delay for our food order however the staff made us aware and brought our drinks in a timely manner.
The frozen margaritas are to die for, who doesn’t love a boozy slush.
The food was also very good and hot to the table however the portion sizes were a little on the small side for the price.
All in all, tasty food, strong drinks and nice, friendly staff.

Just had lunch there and ordered the 3 bean chilli and it was delicious they made me feel welcomed and shout out to the worker jack who treated us like family and went above and beyond looking after our table.Would highly recommend this place for the food,the service and the price is affordable.
Definitely will be coming back again.

This place is good fun! We don't drink alcohol and the mocktails served were lovely. Especially the mock margarita.
The food was really nice, honestly great steak. But the stand out was the churros! I'd come back for coffee and churros. Those were special.

The food is great. We preordered for 11 people and it came out as soon as everyone's got there. The drinks takes awhile to make(pour) as there's only 2 people in the bar( takes 15 mins to get 4 pints of beer out the bar). But overall the foods great, staff are lovely.

Food was really good, only thing I would say is that the fish taco, the batter needed more seasoning and so did the guacamole. More chorizo in the chorizo taco would of been better . That’s why I give 4 stars.. food fresh and homemade. Really good margaritas!

9 of us went for a staff lunch (we hadn't booked) and they were really accommodating and gave us a section to ourselves. They do amazing Mexican food, I ordered the pulled pork quesadilla special and it was perfect. They are also dog friendly
