Great service good food and beer. Entered as 3 walkins pleased to accommodate us. Good selection on menu. Lagers and Ales

Was warm to sit outside.
Small wine and whiskey and coke came to £11.
There is plenty of seating outside.
Toilets upstairs. Clean.
Staff were pleasent and friendly and asked if we were okay.

Classis Scottish pub, wonderful food and atmosphere right on Rose Street. The steak pie was truly award winning.

It was a lovely experience with amazing staff who took my allergies into consideration for the whole process. The food was soooo tasty (haggis, neeps and tatties) and so was my partners steak. All well presented and so good we went for the desserts too. Would recommend for traditional pub food with Scottish traditional food too including stovies as all looked fantastic but with so much taste.

Popped in here for a bit of lunch and a refreshment ,
I Was blown away . The pint was perfect . Their homemade stake and ale pie is to die for...
Or as I said . It's worth travelling from Glasgow just to come here for lunch.

The Food and Drinks here are amazing. Very Friendly staff. Very Accommodating. We had the Fish and Chips and a Stew both were very good. It was our last meal in the city and it did hit the spot.

We have been amased by the local Food in this place. You need to make a reservation to be able to eat a the first floor. One of the best pie in Edimburgh so far. This is a place to know.

We entered the ground floor, and the waitress told us that for dining, we had to go upstairs. Very pleasant, bubbly young lady attended to us. From where we were seated, we could hear the chefs singing in the background. It made us smile.
The food was simply delicious.
