Finally able to visit this place, in August no less. During the "quiet" times of the year we've never been able to get seated as it's quite the local hotspot.
Wine flights and cheese pairing isn't inexpensive, but it is high quality with plenty of written descriptions to enhance your experience.

We have visited them several times in the last 6 months, and they are one of the best wine bars we have been to in Edinburgh. The selection is very diverse, with a balanced wine list, and the food offering is well thought through. Service is friendly and warm, and the space is accommodating no matter where you sit.

Love this place. Come back every time I visit Edinburgh! It should have a way better Google Rating! Delicious cheese/snacks and wine. Great staff; always giving helpful recommendations. There are games like Dominos, Scrabble and Chess if you want entertainment. Great location.

My friend booked the wine cellar for her 30th birthday, it was a decent sized space with a lovely long table, somewhere to play music and plenty of room to mingle! As it is a cellar the ceiling was quite low on either side of the room so take that into consideration, but it wasn't really an issue. The staff were really helpful and friendly, giving us enough space so we didn't feel hounded, but being around enough to ensure we had enough drinks etc at all times! The cheese boards and burrata with bread were amazing and I am still thinking about the delicious truffle crisps that were on the table when we came in. They were really great about us bringing in a cake for my friend too and provided a knife and extra plates.
Overall, a great experience, a fab place for a nice drink and some snacks! A little pricey but definitely worth it, and so easy to find in Stockbridge!
