I've not been in for a while since they changed owners.
Possibly the best service I've ever experienced. Small problem and a delay with our food, which wasn't a big issue as we came in for a couple of drinks. Manager refused to let us pay for the food at all.
The food was good and large portions and the cocktails nice as well.

Under New Management. Had a tidy up recently. Excellent dog friendly pub in Leith. Food was DELICIOUS & staff were very friendly and efficient. Not just ordinary pub grub. We had the Sunday roast (beef) with roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings with real gravy. My wife had the veg option with battered cauliflower. Very high standard of food with daily specials. Reasonably priced with water for the dog. There was live Jazz on Sunday afternoon which was a pleasant surprise.

One of my favourite pubs in Edinburgh at the moment. A really lovely, friendly, relaxed pub with the nicest staff and a good mix of punters. I really like the look of the place too, it really feels like home from home. We just moved locally so have enjoyed coming to this pub recently. We've been living in Leith for 16 years so It's brilliant to find this total gem off the walk.
I highly recommend the food on wings Wednesday's. The cauliflower wings were seriously amazing, the meat eater was delighted too. They do really good nachos too. I love this place, well done to all staff for a cracking job.

Just a great bar with delicious grub and huge portions.
Had the wings and fries and the Mac and cheese.
So often let down by these choices but genuinely fantastic delicious stuff with tasty salad and garlic bread too and surprisingly good fries. Top marks

This place has been recently taken over so when I heard they do Sunday roast I was in. Very hard to come by in Edinburgh. Have to say on the whole it was very tasty however the broccoli was so hard it had almost jumped from the garden to the table and missed the steamer completely. The Yorkshire puddings were tasty enough but we're having an identity crisis as you can see from the pics look more like baby pancakes. Not a huge dessert choice but ok. The cocktails were delicious and could not fault the service. Was also finished off with live jazz in the background. Would definitely return.
