This place has the most amazing food you can experience in Edinburgh. The cakes and food are made by hand and from scratch by Allison I hope I have spelled this properly. As a baker myself I dont give high quality critic unless I know its deserved and this place deserves all of it a must visit whether your from Edinburgh or not. Well done Allison and her team.

Love this place so much words can't describe it ♡ We came here twice in our short holidays. The coffe tastes toasted, the hot chocolate is delicious and it's hard to choose from all the bakery and confectionery that looks exquisite. Plus the price is reasonable! Regular Hot Chocolate, carrot cake, Jaffa cake (pictured) and Latte Macchiato, 12.5£

My husband and I were vacationing in Edinburgh from Texas and came across this place on a Sunday afternoon after visiting the Market. We ordered the large steak and ale pie to share. It was the best steak and ale pie we had all trip! It was so good in fact, the next Sunday we came back and had it again! Then came back on Tuesday and ordered the hot chocolate with cream and mini-marshmallows as well as a slice of the Guinness chocolate cake! I enjoyed every last calorie! Be on the lookout for ‘Bob’s Molasses Cake’! We enjoyed each of our visits to Stockbridge Kitchen!

We visited when attracted to the cakes in the window. We were not disappointed as there was a wide choice of lovely homemade cakes and good tea and coffee. Service was prompt and cheerful. Overall it was a much better experience than going to Starbucks next door! Can't wait to go again to try the savoury menu! You can takes cakes away also!
