Pig & Turnip

Best pretzel ever. Light and fluffy inside, perfectly crisped outside, just right amount of salt. This is no stale chewy ballpark pretzel- this is heavenly. Add 2 sides to make a meal that does justice to a teen's appetite. Picky eaters all around the table loved the side of spiced apples, and the shoestring fries are just the way you want them- crisp, hot & salted without being mushy or greasy. House-made bratwurst was delicious and very understated, tucked into a soft yet toasted bun with a stoneground mustard aioli- I would definitely get this again. The Pig & Turnip was a great surprise and experience- great service, fresh clean tables and dining area atmosphere, great glasses for beverages and carafes of refill. The food was a delicious upscale surprise. We will go back!

My husband went in to this place and took a friend. For two coffees and two donutes he was charged over $20.00. Then when he brought it to the managers attention she said she would put it back on his car and ended up taking the same amout out again. What she was suppose to charge him was $12.00 which she also took out. When he got his bank statement, he found he was overdrawn because he had to buy a tire. At the time he knew he had enough money in the bank to purchase it. Then he took he bank statement and the letter the bank had also written him back to the pig and turnip and the manager refused to give him his money back. We will never go back and are thinking very seriously about sueing them. The manager was very snotty and would not let my husband talk to the owner. So beware!! You may be the next victum.
